course description

When we have experienced trauma or are in survival mode, it can be challenging to be present in your environment and get your body into a place where it can begin to heal. Our Breathe course is all about preparing to be on a healing journey. Learn emotional regulation techniques, healthy daily routines, constructive recreational activities and how to stabilize your basic needs. In addition you will implement self care practices and begin creating your own personal pathway to healing with support.


COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

  1. Learn to create better; rhythms in your life, nutrition, stress release techniques, problem solving skills and healthy communication.   
  2. Build your capacity for resilience and strengthen abilities to handle conflict in a productive way. 
  3. Participate in group discussions and daily written assignments designed to uncover the details of life decisions and experiences that need to be addressed.   
  4. Tool up with a new understanding of emotional intelligence and leave with a new set of skills to support you.   
  5. Learn how your brain and thinking patterns work in daily life in a helpful or harmful way   
  6. Re-educate areas of learning difficulties by discovering our learning styles, dominance patterns, and learning difficulties.   
  7. Practice simple emotional regulation techniques and learn how to maintain them in everyday life.   
  8. Create a plan for moving forward in all areas of your life including vocation and career.    
  9. Deepen your leadership skills and expand your current employable skill set to get and keep a job.   
  10. Learn to listen how your future is calling you forward through learning mindfulness practices, and guided imagery sessions to calm the mind and develop a more positive belief system for yourself.   
  11. Develop healthy financial management skills.   
  12. Build communication skills and strengthen awareness of the other.   
  13. Work with equine therapist, Patrick Buffalo and the horses to reconnect emotionally.   
  14. Practice breathing exercises for mental discipline and tranquility.

participants are experiencing one or more of the following:

- Feeling stuck in Unhealthy Repetitive Patterns   

- Lack of Self Care & Emotional Regulation  

- Low Self Confidence & Lack of Motivation 

 - Minimal Education in Life Skills 

- Trouble Releasing Grief and Loss Experiences  

 - Feeling Unsupported in Life 


 PRE- REQUISITES: None     


COURSE LENGTH: 14 Days (96 hrs)


AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 yrs & older
